I completed my 7-9 Student Teaching Placement at Farmingdale High School in Farmingdale, New York in March of 2010 to May of 2010. Farmingdale High School is a suburban school district that possesses a high level of community which influences education and learning. During my placement, I taught two Ninth Grade Regents Classes, and co-taught lessons in Ninth Grade Honors. I taught units which were based on Where are the Children by Mary Higgins Clark and Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom. This placement confirmed my ability to be motivating, engaging, and interesting for all my present students and ones in the future.
I am currently teaching my Where are the Children Unit, and I will attach it below when the unit is completed.
